Morning Swooners,
So I just realized that April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate I have decided to share with you some of my favorite poems in all the universe. Today, i'm featuring Lang Leav because I absolutely love her work. It's simple but still brings so much emotion out of you. So I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
First Love
Before I fell
in love
with words;
with
setting skies
and
singing birds-
it was
you I fell
in love
with first.
A Stranger
There is a love I reminisce,
like a
seed
I’ve
never sown.
Of lips that I am yet to kiss,
and eyes
not met
my own.
Hands that wrap around my wrists,
and arms
that
feel like home.
I wonder how it is I miss
these
things
I’ve
never known.
Beauty's Curse
Her bow is drawn
to
worlds of dark;
where
arrows spring
and miss
their mark.
She’ll turn their heads
but not
their hearts.
THIS POST IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVOURITES!! the poetry is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehappy poetry month!
Thank Amy! I hope you can post some poems too! I absolutely love poetry and I figured this is the best time to show some of my favorites. I think I'll keep posting a few after this month as well...just because it's so much fun!
